About Heyu
Hello! My name is Heyu, and I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their language-learning goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
I enjoy working with learners of all ages and abilities, from young children to adults. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and I always aim to create lessons that are engaging, patient, and tailored to individual needs.
My academic background has provided me with a strong understanding of language teaching, while my previous customer-facing work experience has helped me develop excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. I am friendly, reliable, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner’s needs, goals, and learning style. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and designed to build confidence while developing practical English skills.
I hold a Master’s degree in TESOL and have experience supporting learners from different educational backgrounds. I can teach General English, Academic English, English as a Second Language (ESOL/EAL), speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, and exam preparation.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged. I use a variety of teaching materials, including real-life situations, engaging activities, and personalised exercises to help students make steady progress.
I welcome children, teenagers, university students, and adult learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Whether you are learning English for school, work, university, or everyday communication, I will create a learning plan that helps you achieve your goals in a positive and encouraging environment.
