About CHARLENE
PIANO, KEYBOARD, OR PIANO ACCORDIAN
To learn Piano, Keyboard or Piano Accordian, one must have a working knowledge of the way to combine and separate chords in rhythm to provide a good sound. It is very important to be able
to set aside at least 8 hours a week to practice. I will begin to teach this 5 week course in piano or
accordion for about an hour once a week. We will begin with learning the very basics of caring for
your instrument and learning the notes in an octave. Then we will learn to begin to form chords
and rhythm with correct hand placement. By the end of the 5 weeks, you should begin to play
a song using this technique. The cost for this course is $65, due before the first class. Those who
wish to learn Accordion must bring their own instrument. Piano students must have access to
a piano or keyboard at home for practice.

I am a retired teacher who has spent the past 50 years playing piano and accordion by ear
at least once a week. In 1981 a Country Gospel Album was recorded in Nashville,Tn, utilizing many years of active service and practice as a singer and song-writer. I enjoy teaching and would love to teach others how to begin to make a difference in their life, using the talents God has given to us all. Learning is a lifetime pleasure, and I have learned that the best techniques must be hands-on to be life lasting. I have not spent a lot of time teaching Piano, Accordian, Keyboard or Crochet, but I am ready to have some fun and hope you are too!
"Practice makes Progress," as Michele Duggar says. The only way to learn music or Crochet is to Practice, Practice, Practice. The best time ratio would be 8 hours practice per 1 hour of instruction.
