About Karola
My name is Karola. I am 26 years old. I am from Ireland. I love to teach English as it is very rewarding and beautiful to see my students English grow within weeks! I have a great relationship with all my students. We talk a lot about our interests, play games and tell jokes while also following materials to get them at or above their grade level. I have been teaching English online for almost a year now and I can say it has been the best year of my life. My students and I have a mutual respect for each other. One thing they always say is.... They wish they had found me sooner! :)

My approach to teaching is holistic as I would like to not only get the student to their grade level or above, I would like to help the development of each individual emotionally and physically. All the vocabulary and grammar I teach is also taught in school at a different grade level. As an ESL teacher, the materials I use are focused on improving all 4 skills of the English language (reading, listening, writing and speaking). I will assess each student during the first lesson and then choose the book level which is appropriate for them. Each class will be a positive atmosphere and will be a lot of fun! :)
