About Lungelo
This is an English tutor built to make lessons feel different from the usual textbook routine. The purpose here is to help students actually use English, not just memorize rules. That means lessons pull from songs, videos, and situations you encounter outside class, so the language connects to real life.
The interest in teaching comes from watching what happens when students stop worrying about being “correct” and start using English to get something done. Whether it’s telling a story, making a point, or understanding a meme without help, that moment matters. The focus is on creating those moments regularly, giving live feedback, and making progress visible so students can hear and feel the change.

This isn’t another class where the goal is to finish a chapter and forget it by Friday. The focus here is on using English right away for things that actually matter—winning a quick debate, getting a joke without needing subtitles, handling a real conversation without freezing up.
The material comes from what’s already relevant. Songs, TikToks, memes, short clips you already watch. Textbook dialogs get swapped out for content that makes sense in your world, so the language sticks because it’s tied to something you care about.
Apps can give practice, but they can’t adjust when energy drops or build on an inside joke from last week. That’s where this class works differently. Lessons shift based on how the room feels, and feedback happens in the moment, not a week later.
Progress is visible too. Students record themselves speaking early on, then again a few weeks in. The change is obvious when you hear it yourself. No guessing required.
