About Lena

I am a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience helping students develop vocal confidence and creativity. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), which deepened my passion for vocal culture and harmony traditions. My teaching centers on vocal arrangement and building layered harmonies. I love helping singers create rich vocal textures.

Students learn styles including A Cappella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B. Lessons focus on vocal blending, harmony stacking, and counter-melody development. I also introduce arranging techniques that help singers shape vocal groups. Production basics are included for recording layered vocals.

I work with school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals. My lessons also include improvisation, composition, music history, and music technology. About the lesson

My singing teaching method combines strong vocal training with ensemble performance skills. Students first learn fundamentals such as breathing, pitch accuracy, and tone control. These basics create a strong vocal foundation. I then introduce choral singing techniques that help singers blend their voices effectively.

Students practice sight-reading for choir music and learn to follow musical notation. Part-singing exercises allow them to explore soprano, alto, tenor, and bass harmonies. Lessons focus on tone matching and balancing volume within the group. These skills help create a unified choir sound.

My teaching style encourages singers to listen carefully and perform as part of a team. I support singers performing with orchestras so they can integrate their voice smoothly into larger ensembles. I also guide vocalists who enjoy working across multiple musical styles while maintaining strong choral technique. Each session builds confidence and musical awareness.
