About Zoey
I have been in Musical Theatre since I was 11, and dancing since I was able to walk! I chose to leave conventional schooling in 8th grade to pursue conservatory training for my career choice. I have served on multiple artistic teams at various theatre companies in my area. I have helped choreograph, clean dances, block, clean vocals, assist the directors, etc. I am continuing this career every single day with my training despite Covid-19. I also work for a college audition company that helps students auditioning for theatre college programs organize their material and strategize their audition techniques for various programs! I have 11 years of vocal experience from many voice teachers. I also have been trained in music theory up to the AP level. I have been able to play various roles in musicals such as Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Veronica Sawyer in Heathers, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Nala in The Lion King, Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, and many more.

I would love to be able to teach students who are just starting to sing and branch out into potential performance opportunities. Also those who struggle finding their voice type and character type! I also would like to teach the music theory/piano basics, at least, to those who want to become more musically inclined. Learning music, I believe, is essential to the formation of our creative minds. Even if someone doesn't choose to be in a music career, music impacts our everyday life and becoming more knowledgable can open up students to more job opportunities and careers than they knew of.
