About Hattie

My name is Hattie and I’m a second year Theatre Student at the University of Bristol passionate about helping young people unlock their potential in education. I have experience as a teaching assistant and tutor, so you can always feel comfortable to ask the tricky questions! As a student myself who had tutoring at school, I understand that staring at a textbook or mark scheme doesn’t work for everyone! I hope to work with you to help you feel confident in your abilities going in to an exam, and help achieve the grades you deserve. My lessons will be engaging and personalised to your goals. I look forward to meeting you!

About the lesson

My experience in education as a teaching assistant has developed a lesson style that engages with the personal needs of each student and their learning. My lessons will be active, incorporating multiple different activities like discussing approaching mark schemes, test essay plans and fun revising challenges to solidify understanding of concepts learnt in previous weeks. Ideal for GCSE and Alevel Students, I will use my passion for English and the Creative arts to nourish students personal interest in the subjects we study. Standard lessons are an hour, once a week but this can be increased depending on your preference.
