About Erin
I am 21 years old and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa before moving to the UK last September. I attended a Cambridge school in South Africa and enjoyed English, History and Environmental Management the most out of my 5 A-levels. I have a great love for kiddies and have worked with both children and teenagers as a dance teacher and volunteered as a playmate and tutor to young children with foetal alcohol syndrome. I plan on attending the University of Surrey this September to study Law with International Relations. Overall, I am a down-to-earth, friendly person who works well with children of all academic backgrounds.

My lessons are about personal growth and patience. I don’t get frustrated as I understand that some take longer to adjust to concepts than others. I believe in using fun and attention grabbing techniques to keep students invested. If students need a break or are frustrated, I am more than happy to give them some breathing time during the lesson as I understand the emotion and pressure behind wanting to do well and wanting to click with concept’s immediately. Each student is different and I do believe as an educator you adapt your teaching style to the child rather than the child having to struggle to keep up with you.
