Hi there! I’m Maaike, from The Netherlands. I studied Biomedical Sciences in Amsterdam and now I live in my favourite city: Granada! I love learning and teaching languages. I teach Dutch and English.

About Maaike
I have a lot of experience in teaching languages. I helped Dutch primary school students with their Dutch, I taught English to Dutch high school students and besides I gave private Dutch classes to foreigners in The Netherlands. I am looking forward to teaching Dutch and English to Spanish people and foreigners here in Granada!

My teaching method is a combination of various aspects in each class. In a class, I want to start with having a (small) conversation (depends on the level of the student), then a bit of grammar, then some reading to learn to understand a text and new vocabulary and to finish the class a little exercise and sometimes a game. Combining different aspects makes the class more interesting and this way the student will not get bored.
