About Chloe

Hi, I'm Chloe, a Building Surveyor working in local government with an MSc in Building Surveying and a background in Architecture (RIBA Part 1).

When I was considering my own career path, I often wished I could speak to someone closer to my age who could provide an honest account of the realities of working in the built environment—the challenges, opportunities and day-to-day experiences that aren't always discussed at university.

Having successfully secured professional roles within the industry, I can also share practical advice on CV writing, job applications, interview preparation and presenting yourself confidently to employers.

I enjoy connecting with like-minded people, sharing my experiences and helping others feel more confident about their next steps. Whether you're considering a career in surveying, architecture or construction, I'd be happy to offer support and guidance based on my own journey and experiences.

About the lesson

My sessions are tailored to each individual and focus on providing practical guidance based on my own experience in the built environment sector.

As a Building Surveyor working in local government, with an MSc in Building Surveying and a degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 1), I can support students and aspiring professionals who are considering careers in surveying, architecture and construction.

I can help with career planning, understanding different surveying pathways, CV reviews, interview preparation, UCEM study advice and sharing my experience of working towards chartership.

My aim is to provide honest, supportive and practical guidance to help you feel more confident about your next steps.
