About Nadia
I am a third year Biology student, and my aim in the future is to go into teaching. I have worked with many students through tutoring and through work experience in two primary schools. I don’t expect to teach you like in a classroom environment, but rather as a discussion in which we can learn together and learn from each other.
I am very patient and will never rush you to understand something, or get bothered if you don’t. I’m always happy to listen to your preferences on how to learn and I am flexible to change my methods based on how you learn best.

During lessons I ensure to keep my students engaged by adapting the lesson to them. Some ways in which I do this is using interactive quizzes, diagrams, colours and images (for visual learners), but I’m always happy to simply go through content and explain it if that is how the student learns best. I like to start with clear objectives, follow with the lesson plan, and always conclude with some questions to track the students progress. I have become very adaptable by working with many different students for more than a year with MyTutor, as well as working as a tutor interviewer to take on new employees which allowed me to pinch ideas of different methods and styles of teaching from thousands of candidates. My lessons are usually about an hour long, and iv’e mostly worked with GCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics students, but I have also completed my A-levels in biology and would be more than happy to tutor A-level students.
