About Charlotta
About to commence my second year at King’s College London, a Bachelor’s in English is pursuant of an academic career spent devoted to the subject. I received a grade 9 at GCSE’s and an A* at A-level as well as having several short stories and poems awarded and published in school magazines/newsletters through competitions during my school career. Since leaving college I have been contacted by the Head of English in request to incorporate my A-level essays into one of his exam prep lessons.

I employ a two step method in regards to English Literature. The first is taking the time to perceive any grievances or difficulties that the student might have, then addressing them accordingly - whether it be in attempts to inspire interest in certain topics, or a need to solidify the basics, or revision and clarification of needed areas . Once all this is accomplished, the second step is focused entirely on the criteria that a student needs to show in order to be awarded a top grade; this includes detailed point-by-point reviews of mark schemes, past papers and examiners’ comments, as well as the tips and tricks I was clued into over the years in preparation for exams.
