I am a third year Liberal Arts Ba History Major at King's College London. I have gained a large amount of teaching experience in both schools and homes over the last year with my primary focus being on English for both GCSE and A-level students.
I always try and meet students on their level, by understanding their needs, learning rate and personal preferences. I intend to take the student from being apathetic towards the subject to stimulated and motivated by it, because only when a student begins to enjoy what they do will they actually strive to succeed in it.
I have stepped from the International Baccalaureate, a multi-faceted diploma, to Liberal Arts which is also multi-disciplinary by nature and therefore have mastered my ability to transfer skills across disciplines and it is precisely this level of critical technique that I try instil in my students.
I have always had a passion for film and literature and both of these take up a good bit of my time. Otherwise I enjoy going on spontaneous adventures with friends or getting together for a jam (I'm a bass player.)
