About Namrata
I am Namrata, a third-year medical student at a UK university with a strong academic foundation in Biology and Chemistry at A-Level and continued exposure to advanced scientific learning through my medical training. My studies have strengthened my ability to break down complex concepts into clear, structured explanations and apply scientific reasoning in an exam-focused way.
Alongside my degree, I have developed a strong interest in education and mentoring, particularly in helping students build confidence in challenging subjects. I understand the demands of GCSE and A-Level curricula and the importance of mastering both content knowledge and exam technique.
My approach is professional, organised, and student-centred. My approach to tutoring is structured, exam-focused and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by identifying strengths and gaps through short diagnostic questions, then build a personalised plan targeting key syllabus areas and exam technique. I emphasise active recall, spaced repetition and frequent use of past-paper questions to develop both understanding and exam confidence. I also break down complex concepts into clear, logical steps, using clinical-style reasoning where appropriate to strengthen application skills.
Each session includes a mix of content teaching, guided practice and independent questions, followed by targeted feedback.
I am a third-year medical student with a strong academic background in the sciences and ongoing experience with evidence-based learning methods used in medical training. I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Biology, Chemistry and General Science, as well as younger students building foundational knowledge.
