About Samiha
I am known by my peers to be a highly enthusiastic, young healthcare student with a positive attitude towards learning. I have a keen interest in helping pupils excel in their studies by making it easier for them to reach their goals through an adaptable teaching style to meet each student’s needs. In the past, I have utilised a bite sized teaching method where I begin teaching the fundamentals of a topic and gradually progressing to a harder level. I enjoy using whiteboards, colours, posters and power points because, as a visual learner, I believe it acts as a form of long – term memory. As well as academics, I have also taken part in numerous societies and events to develop and understand my skills better. I would love to use my experience from teaching towards pupils as I believe it will make a big difference to their current learning and pathway in the future.

I love teaching students from the fundamentals and progressing through sessions with exam style and practice exam questions. I believe using mind maps and power points are an amazing technique to help memorise information. I have used whiteboards and constant questioning in sessions and I've received good feedback from peers and students in the past. I taught GCSE maths and Chemistry since I was 15 years old and have recently started teaching English Language. I can teach from KS2-Alevel Chemistry, KS2-GCSE Maths and GCSE English Language. In the past, teachers have commented that I am very kind-hearted and patient, so I feel I will be able to adapt my teaching technique according to the student I am assigned with.
