About Chun Yin

Hi! I’m a dedicated musician with over eight years in my school orchestra and two years in the jazz band. I hold an ATCL Diploma in Piano Performance and Grade 8 in Trombone, and I’ve performed at inter-school music festivals, including winning second place for trombone. I started teaching because I love sharing the joy of music and helping students build both skill and confidence. Having learnt and performed in different styles and settings, I understand how to make lessons supportive, structured and enjoyable — so students can progress at their own pace and really enjoy making music.

About the lesson

My lesson would be an hour long, I would love to play a duet with my student as the final aim. However, I would support them by identifying their level of playing, then give suitable practice to enhance their performance skills and techniques, where I would use lots of ways to make the lesson interesting for the students to engage with and strive to achieve their best.
