About Ashley
I graduated cum laude from the College of Southern Idaho. I have my Associates degree in Political Science. During my college years I maintained a 3.8 GPA landing dean's list and honor roll. I have coached students through senior projects (essays mainly). Was even given an award for the best English paper ever written, for my state. Writing has always come naturally to me, and I have yet to see someone fail after my tutoring. I have even tutored over 20 students that were able to earn their GED's. I have not had any failed attempts in my tutoring career. I can teach you to take your topic of writing, build a foundation for it, and close out the paper with minimal time spent. I know both MLA and ALA formatting. I know how to easily create a works cited page without the confusion of what goes where as well as to properly cite the author(s). Writing does not have to be boring or tedious. Its an adventure, one in which your mind and talent get to decide what direction the reader shall go. I have taught from ages as young as 7 all the way up to 64. My students do not fail, nor do they forget their capabilities.

Each student is different, and no two forms of writing are the same. First we find your passion, then we establish your level of writing. From there we learn your habits, structural, punctual, vocabulary and so much more. I try to find the level you are on in regards to your writing strengths as well as weaknesses. I do a run through of the basic components that make up an essay, and then I teach one to build off of that, creating a much larger verbal picture. Everyone has something to say, its my job to help you put that down on paper with the correct formatting enabling you to recognize and utilize your writing techniques to their fullest capabilities with minimal effort and time on your part. Writing will become easy and not a chore to be dreaded.
