About ALICE

My name is Alice, and I am a Biochemistry student with a genuine passion for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have always enjoyed learning how things work, but what I enjoy most is helping other people understand topics that once felt confusing or intimidating. Science can be challenging, and I remember how overwhelming it can feel when concepts don’t immediately make sense, this is a big part of why I enjoy teaching.

I take a calm, patient and supportive approach to tutoring. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of getting things wrong. I focus on explaining ideas clearly, breaking topics down into manageable steps, and adapting my teaching style to suit each student. My aim is to help students feel more confident in their abilities, not just to memorise information for exams.

As a current student, I am familiar with the pressures of GCSE and A-Level study, including exam stress and time management. This allows me to offer practical advice alongside subject teaching, helping students develop effective revision techniques and a more positive mindset towards science.
