About Noha
I am a Cary Academy student and experienced tutor with a strong background in mathematics, writing, spelling, and Public Forum debate. I have worked with previous students in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, as well as Precalculus, focusing on making difficult concepts easier to understand and helping students build confidence.
My academic experience also extends beyond the classroom. I was a finalist in my county’s spelling bee (since the third grade!) and have continued developing my spelling and vocabulary skills ever since. As North Carolina’s #1-ranked Public Forum debater, I have competed at major tournaments across the country, strengthening my writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. I bring that same patience and attention to detail to every tutoring session, adapting my approach to help each student succeed.

My approach to tutoring is centered around making difficult concepts feel manageable, practical, and even enjoyable. As a Cary Academy student and competitive Public Forum debater, I understand the importance of both mastering material and learning how to communicate it clearly. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, strengths, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
A typical lesson begins by identifying what the student already understands, followed by direct instruction, guided practice, and independent problems or exercises. For debate and writing, I focus on argumentation, organization, evidence, clarity, and critical thinking. For mathematics, I emphasize understanding base level knowledge in a specific subject, where we spend less time from the ground up (unless, of course, necessary) and start from where you are!
My instructions are designed primarily for elementary, middle, and high school (underclassmen) students looking for personalized support.
