About Darsh
I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a strong academic background and first-hand success in the 11+ examinations. I achieved top scores in both the Kent and Bexley exams and went on to study at Dartford Grammar School before joining Brampton Manor Sixth Form. I also achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE English and am currently predicted all A* at A-Level.
With over six years of tutoring experience, I specialise in helping students prepare for the English and Verbal Reasoning components of the 11+. I am passionate about helping students improve their reading, writing, vocabulary and reasoning skills, and I focus on developing confidence as well as exam performance. I am patient, professional and committed to supporting students in achieving their best results in selective entrance tests.

I focus on developing strong reading comprehension, vocabulary, creative writing, and reasoning skills through structured and engaging activities. Lessons include guided reading, writing practice, timed verbal reasoning exercises, and targeted exam-style questions to build both speed and accuracy.
Before starting, I assess each student’s current ability so I can adapt lesson content and pace to their needs. Over time, students develop stronger analytical thinking, better written expression, and greater confidence under timed conditions — all of which are crucial for 11+ success. Lessons are one hour long and ideal for students preparing for selective grammar school entrance exams.
