About Enrique

I’m Enrique, a Cambridge-trained Aerospace Engineer with over 12 years of experience tutoring students in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, and university-level problem solving.

I studied Aerospace Engineering, hold a Master’s in Quantum Physics, and completed PhD-level research at the University of Cambridge in Computational Physics. I have also worked professionally in engineering, software, and technical problem-solving roles, including at MathWorks and Airbus.

Over the years, I’ve supported ambitious students preparing for Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, Ivy League, and other highly competitive university applications. My work is especially suited to students who need to develop confidence with unfamiliar problems, technical interviews, mathematical reasoning, and explaining their thinking clearly under pressure.

About the lesson

Oxbridge and top-university interviews are not only about knowing the syllabus. They also test how you think, how you respond when a problem becomes unfamiliar, how clearly you explain your reasoning, and how well you recover when you get stuck.

I have been preparing students for competitive university applications and interviews for more than 12 years, helping successful students reaching their desired universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, Ivy League institutions, and other highly selective STEM programmes.

My interview preparation sessions are tailored to the student’s target course, university, and current level. I focus on building the habits needed for high-pressure academic interviews: structured thinking, clear verbal reasoning, flexible problem-solving, and calm confidence.

I can support preparation for:

- Oxford and Cambridge interview preparation
- Imperial, Ivy League, UCL, Warwick, and other competitive STEM university applications
- Maths, Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, and related STEM courses
- Technical problem-solving under pressure
- Mechanics, calculus, vectors, graphs, estimation, logic, algorithms, and modelling questions
- Mock interviews with live questioning and detailed feedback
- Thinking aloud, structuring explanations, and communicating assumptions clearly
- Personal statement discussion and follow-up questions
- Admissions-test-style problem solving where relevant
- Interview confidence, strategy, and recovery when stuck

Each session can include live mock interview practice, targeted technical questions, feedback on communication, and follow-up exercises between lessons.
