About Nikki
Hi fellow students! My name is Nikki Harkers and I am interested in teaching/tutoring as I want to, hopefully, one day become a lecturer. I am currently studying at NGI in hopes of graduating with a Diploma in Tourism Management. I have minimal experience with tutoring but I am extremely passionate about this subject. I can assure you that I will always try my best to help you achieve your best!

I think what makes my teaching methods unique are the fact that I like to engage with students on a level that is relatable, since I am a young individual myself. I am proficient in English (my home language) and I do speak Afrikaans as well, but I prefer to teach in English. A typical lesson will be very relaxed and somewhat informal, as I am working with young individuals. I am a visual learner myself, so I will include visual representations during lessons to make things easier to understand. I mainly aim at teaching students from Grade 10-12 and any individuals wanting to re-write their NSC.
