About Tristen ZiJuin

As an educator, I believe that learning never ends. I enjoy facilitating my students in their journey towards success. I see the "fullest potential" as a path, and not a destination. And I aim to encourage, guide, support and provide my students with the tools they need to realise their that.

About the lesson

My approach towards teaching varies according to the outcomes that my students wish to achieve. The first few classes will serve as a diagnosis where we will understand your abilities and proficiency of the craft. The next classes will then be curated based on the result from previous class to ensure a steady growth in your craft as an actor. My classes will mostly include a variety of exercises as well as practical work with increasing difficulty with time with some focalised scene work/monologues/poetry/prose etc. We will also explore some theoretical approaches via discussions and research. We will be working towards finding your authentic self and transforming them into believable characters. We would also uncover aspects of movement, devising, physical awareness, voice, making strong acting choices, improvisation etc. Duration of class is usually one hour, but it can be longer to fulfil your needs as a learner. My classes are for all ages with or without acting background. I am able to teach acting as personal coaching for professionals, for leisure or in line for IGCSE and/or Trinity College Examination Syllabus.
