About Diogo
Hello! My name is Diogo, and I have dedicated many years to practicing and teaching traditional Shotokan Karate. Throughout my journey, I have learned that karate is much more than punches and kicks—it is a lifelong path of discipline, respect, perseverance, and personal growth.
I enjoy helping students of all ages build confidence, improve their physical abilities, and develop a strong mindset both inside and outside the dojo. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where every student can progress at their own pace while enjoying the process.
Outside of karate, I work in business and digital marketing, which has strengthened my communication and teaching skills. Whether you're looking to learn self-defense, improve your fitness, or begin your journey in traditional karate, I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

I teach traditional Shotokan Karate with a strong focus on discipline, confidence, respect, and continuous personal growth. Every lesson is adapted to the student's age, experience, and personal goals, whether they are learning karate for the first time, improving technique, or developing self-defense skills.
A typical lesson includes mobility and warm-up exercises, kihon (fundamental techniques), kata, kumite drills when appropriate, and practical applications. I also explain the principles behind each movement so students understand not only how to perform a technique, but why it works.
What sets me apart is my belief that karate is more than physical training. I encourage students to develop patience, self-control, perseverance, and respect—qualities that extend beyond the dojo into everyday life.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults of all experience levels. Whether your goal is fitness, self-defense, personal development, or traditional karate training, I will adapt each lesson to help you progress at your own pace.
