About Charnene
Listening to old records in the Appalachian mountains sparked a lifelong obsession with fiddle tunes. Truth be told, I find notation often gets in the way of true expression. My 13 years spent teaching 500 students have refined my ear.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance from East Tennessee State University. My focus remains on TONE PRODUCTION and scales for clarity. Results speak for themselves.

You will notice that we move at a pace determined entirely by your listening progress. Building a foundation through ear training and orchestral technique happens naturally over time.
I provide a monthly progress report shared with parents to ensure everyone stays aligned on goals. My Bachelor of Fine Arts from East Tennessee State University informs the way I breakdown complex fingerings. We emphasize tuning by ear until it feels like second nature. Arpeggios serve as our daily warm-up to build strength.
