About Dev
I've been a dancer for over a decade now, trained across styles like Hip-Hop, Afro, Bollywood and House.
Dance has been a calling for my whole life, ever since I was a kid and used to watch Michael Jackson music videos in awe.
It became my way of communication and expression when words failed me and as a teacher I love seeing students experience that same bridge between body and mind.
For each student, the journey of becoming a dancer is entirely unique, and it's an honor for me to be able to guide them in a way that feels both accessible and empowering.

My classes focus on building strong foundations while helping students grow into confident, expressive movers.
I believe dance should feel both disciplined and freeing, so my teaching balances technique with individuality, musicality, and movement quality.
A typical class begins with a warm-up and conditioning section, followed by drills focused on specific moves, where I break down groove, coordination, textures, body control, and the musical understanding behind each style.
Once a strong foundation has been built, we move into choreography, where students learn how to stitch those foundations together in a way that enhances transitions, flow, performance, and overall movement quality.
I also incorporate freestyle exercises and performance-based training to help students become more comfortable with self-expression, improvisation, and confidence in their own movement. As a teacher, I focus heavily on energy, clarity, and adaptability.
I break movements down in a way that feels approachable while still encouraging students to push themselves and improve consistently.
My goal is to create an environment where students feel challenged, supported, and creatively engaged.
The classes are open to students of all levels and backgrounds.
