About Amber
Hi, I’m Amber, an artist and tutor with over five years of formal training in art and a real passion for helping beginners grow their skills. I did my very first art lesson at the age of 9, and there my love for drawing and painting started. Throughout my late teens I continued studying art and my love for it has only grown. I understand what it’s like to start from scratch, and I make sure every lesson is welcoming, supportive, and tailored to your pace. My goal is to help you build strong foundations in drawing, while also making room for creativity and fun. I take pride in creating lessons that are well-structured, clear, and encouraging, so you always know what you’re working on and why. I’ve worked with both children and adults, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs and learning goals. Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time, returning to art after a break, or just looking for a new creative outlet, I’ll guide you every step of the way :)

I’ve been studying and creating art for over five years and love helping beginners get started. My lessons are relaxed and easy to follow, with step-by-step guidance to build confidence and skills from the ground up. I focus on basics like drawing, color, and shading, and include fun projects so you can apply what you learn right away. Each class runs for 45 or 60 minutes and includes warm-up activities, technique practice, and time to create your own work. I adjust the pace depending on your needs and always leave time for questions or feedback. Experienced in teaching both kids and adults, my lessons are perfect for anyone starting learning art. Whether you're looking to try something new or build a creative habit, I’m here to help.
