Kyle is a very talented music producer and instructor. He not only spends the time assessing his students in order to determine their learning needs, he is able to identify their strengths and create a custom learning plan accordingly. Since beginning my lessons from Kyle, I have watched my skills and knowledge grow exponentially. He is thoughtful, patient, and extremely thorough. His knowledge base extends far beyond that of any of my prior instructors within an academic setting.

It only takes one course from Kyle to realize that you aren't going to get the level of attention and knowledge that you'll get with him anywhere else. In addition to being an attentive listeners, his concern with fact-checking and credibility is bar none, which isn't something you are going to get from a YouTube "expert" or from the internet. Kyle as a mentor is an extremely passionate and thorough person. Not only has he made music his life, he has made the most intricate and hard-to-understand topics such as parallel compression, and the inner-workings of various Digital synthesizers much easier to get a grasp on. I also believe that as an “Abletonian” he has a grasp on that DAW only the highest echelon of producers can ever dream to achieve. The man is a production Wizard, and I credit him for my own extensive- understanding of the digital music and production world.

Kyle has been a mentor to be for the better part of 2 years and has been a wealth of knowledge for me in the music space. Ableton's his specialty and he has in depth knowledge on everything from basic fundamentals to complex concepts. He has helped me make strides in my sound design, arrangement, mixes and masters and continues to be someone who I can turn to whenever I feel in over my head.
