About Amber
Hello! My name is Amber. If you are looking to truly understand the people, cultures, and events that shaped our world, you are in the right place. As an ancient and classical historian and an ESL teacher, I can offer a unique, two-pronged approach to tutoring. Serving as a United States Air Force veteran instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, adaptability, and professionalism—qualities I bring into every single tutoring session. I have an undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Museum Studies. I'm currently working to complete a graduate degree in History with a concentration in Ancient and Classical History.
I will design a lesson plan based on what each student prefers, which includes just chatting about any historical topic. I will work with any grade level.
