About Gianna

Of Italian origin, I studied in Veneto between the conservatory and the "classico" high school (ancient letters) until obtaining a License in Modern Letters. I then continued my studies at Paris-Sorbonne University (Master in Comparative Literatures) and at the National School of Paris (double preparatory class for the Agrégation and Capes competition) to finish at Bordeaux-Montaigne University (Master in Italian Didactics). Since 2014 I have been teaching as a certified teacher. I am the co-author of a two-volume CNED Italian textbook for middle school students.

About the lesson

My methodology is of the actional and inductive type. That is to say: manipulate the language and observe the language in its context in order to grasp it in an authentic and simpler way. The communication process is at the heart of my lessons, as is encouragement. I offer my help for reinforcement or linguistic and cultural discovery courses but I also offer the possibility of doing with me courses that are a little out of the ordinary. For example: 1 - A cycle of lessons dedicated to grandparents wishing to spend a moment of sharing with their grandchildren and learn the Italian language together with games and targeted activities. 2 - A cycle of courses targeted for a family wishing to travel to Italy with the basics of knowing how to read a menu, order at a restaurant, understand directions, understand non-verbal language, ask simple questions or, for the most part little ones, order ice cream like the grown-ups. It is also possible to contact me only to schedule a small cycle dedicated exclusively to culture such as virtual guided walks in a city or a museum, for example the Sistine Chapel. The course material, printable, is sent by email in advance or after the lesson according to the needs in order to be able to count on a paper support. All the material will be created explicitly for the course and adapted to the specific needs of the learners (visual disturbances, dyslexia etc.) ATTENTION: MY LESSONS ARE 100% ONLINE (for the moment)
