About Aden

Hello! My name is Aden and I am 16. I am a passionate musician with Grade 8 qualifications in piano and cello, as well as Grade 5 in Drums. Having achieved these grades myself, I understand the challenges students can face and how proper training and consistency can dramatically change how you perform.

Whether you're learning your first notes, preparing for a graded exam, or simply looking to improve your playing, I tailor each lesson to suit your individual goals and learning style.

I believe that music should be enjoyable as well as rewarding, and I aim to make every lesson engaging, patient, and well-structured. My goal is to help students build strong foundations, develop good practice habits, and gain confidence in their abilities.

I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals!

About the lesson

I aim to make lessons friendly, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I explain concepts in different ways until they make sense and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson.

For music lessons, I focus on developing strong technique, musical understanding whilst actually enjoying the music. Through breaking pieces into manageable sections, I help students improve their practice methods, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress between lessons.

Lessons are typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on the student's age and goals. I aim to teach students who are roughly grade 3-5, but this can vary, going up to grade 6.

Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I have achieved Grade 8 in both Piano and Cello, as well as Grade 5 in Drums. Having completed these exams myself, I understand the challenges students face and can offer practical advice on technique, practice routines, and exam preparation.

My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate students of all ages, particularly children who want to work towards graded music examinations or just for enjoyment.
