About Ian
I am from a regional town where I could not have lessons in person. As a result I know what it is like to receive online lessons and how to best educate across a video call. I will pay special attention to aspects of playing that are often missed due to compression during online lessons.

I am able to effectively communicate ideas about the theoretical, practical, and technical parts of trumpet playing. I can do 15 minute to 2 hour lessons. I have experience playing in orchestras, school/concert bands, solo, brass bands, and musicals. I have also taught as a volunteer and a professional. I am able to teach up to grade 5 AMEB as well as brand new players.
