About Lucy
I am a 3rd year student at Leeds Conservatoire studying on the BA Actor -Musicianship course. I started playing trumpet and cornet very young - I grew up playing in brass bands, where I eventually played solo cornet, competing regionally and nationally against other bands. Since starting my course at the Conservatoire, I have picked up Bass Guitar, Accordion and Guitar.

Hello! My teaching methods are playful and fun, where mistakes are allowed to be made! It’s all about learning, not being perfect straight away! I will ask the student at the beginning of the sessions what they would like to achieve, in order to make sure I am making the most of my time with them. Sessions last between 30mins-60mins, students can either warm up before hand, or if they prefer, I will lead a warm up at the beginning of the session, where I can teach the best ways to warm up.
