About Edouard
Originally from Lille (France), I fell in love with music very early on and started playing the trumpet at the age of 5. In 2016 I obtained two DEMs in jazz and classical music, which guided me to CMDL in Paris, where I studied with Claude Egea and Stéphane Guillaume.
I multiply the musical encounters there and I perform in jazz clubs in Paris such as the Sunset/Sunside, the Baiser Salé, the Bal Blomet, etc…
After a stint with Frank Tortiller's National Youth Jazz Orchestra, I am currently pursuing my international ambitions at the Royal Academy of Music in London, to continue my studies with Nick Smart, Pete Churchill, Orlando Lefleming, Gareth Lockrance and many others.

So welcome to my course, focused on learning the techniques to play this great instrument!
My mission: to accompany you towards the understanding of the notions necessary to interpret your favorite songs and pieces. And whether your level is beginner or intermediate.
I will approach the instrument through the learning of harmony and its nature as a "musical foundation", and rhythm, the real beating heart of music.
