About Shama

I am a graduate of a Turkish public university, where I studied entirely in Turkish. I have a proven C1 level of Turkish and lived in Turkey for 6 years, so I understand not only the language but also Turkish culture and everyday communication.

I have 6 years of experience teaching Turkish to students from different backgrounds. I have also taken TÖMER and TOEFL exams myself, so I understand what it takes to prepare for language exams and can help you develop an effective preparation strategy.

As a language learner myself, I know how challenging it can be to learn a new language. I currently speak five languages: Turkish, English, Russian, Kazakh, and German. I can use your native language when necessary to explain difficult concepts and make useful associations. However, my main goal is to help you immerse yourself in Turkish and become comfortable understanding and speaking it naturally.

About the lesson

Selam! I'm an alumna of a Turkish university and also once went through this thorny path. These years are behind, and now I'm in the place of my old professors. But with one difference, in my lessons you won't draw in your notebook out of boredom, but will completely immerse yourself in the language and atmosphere. Already from the first lessons, you will learn how to build simple sentences, and most importantly, without all this cramming. Well, it’s possible that there will be some cramming, but it will be nice, because we are moving towards our goal!
Over 6 years, more than 150 students have walked this path with me and now, in their travels around Turkey, in their daily lives and even in their studies, they confidently demonstrate their wonderful Turkish! Well, what to hide, watching our favorite Turkish TV shows in the original is much cooler;)
In the lessons, we will analyze grammar, listen to different songs, dialogues and podcasts, watch videos, read interesting texts and, of course, talk about everything! Are you still here? Book a trial lesson with me and let's start this journey into the world of Turkish!
