About Danel
I’m a passionate and dedicated Grade 2 teacher who loves helping young learners grow in confidence and develop a love for learning.
I believe that children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged. My teaching style is patient, friendly and interactive, with lessons adapted to suit each learner’s individual needs and learning pace.
I specialise in helping Grade 1–3 learners strengthen their Afrikaans skills, including reading, vocabulary, spelling, comprehension and sentence construction. I aim to make every lesson fun and engaging while building a strong language foundation.
Whether your child needs extra support, is struggling with certain concepts, or simply wants to improve their Afrikaans, I’m here to help them feel confident and successful.

Fun, Engaging Afrikaans Lessons for Grades 1–3!
As an experienced Grade 2 teacher, I understand that young learners learn best when lessons are fun, interactive and encouraging. My goal is to make Afrikaans enjoyable while helping learners build confidence and strong language foundations.
My lessons are personalised to suit each child’s individual needs and learning pace. We will work on reading, vocabulary, spelling, sentence construction, comprehension and everyday Afrikaans language skills through fun activities and engaging exercises.
I create a patient and supportive learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying again. Every lesson is designed to help your child make progress while developing a positive attitude towards Afrikaans.

Grade 1–3 learners who need extra Afrikaans support, want to strengthen their language skills, or simply want to become more confident in Afrikaans.
