About Helen
I am passionate about sharing my skills, knowledge and love of art to help encourage your own creativity and expression. I have worked with all ages and needs.
I believe developing confidence through art and design can significantly help encourage independent and creative thinking in all areas.
I can tutor you through GCSE or A level Art and Design, and Photography.
Or lead individuals or workshops in using art for meditation , imagination and creative exploration.
I have a background as a graphic designer, and have found, as a teacher, the background in commercial art has been invaluable in engaging relevance of art to the ‘real’ world.

Tutoring and experience in teaching art at all ages and abilities, including young people/teenagers with learning needs (SEND). Using art for developing understanding in different areas of the curriculum.
QTS - qualified teaching status from KS3 to GCSE and A level, as teacher and Head of Department. Up to date full DBS. With 12 years in Commercial Art (graphic design), and running the design studio.
Passionate about Art and engaging the creative hearts of all ages with the subject! … also practical knowledge and understanding of secondary curriculum and examination requirements.
