About Mercy Folake
In simple expression, I am a born-academician. I have been a teacher since my childhood, and I have always wanted to impact my world with the knowledge in me. Not only through teaching, but also through writing and speaking do I like to offer knowledge to my world. I am also a creative writer, who believes in the world of literature as a representation of the society. I just launched a collection of poems in April, 2023. I am still pregnant with a lot, and I would like to birth them on this generation, and many generations after.

As a private tutor, one critical factor that I have realized could ensure result-oriented grasping of knowledge is patience. This factor is not usually adopted by traditional teachers, especially in a group learning environment. It is worthy of note that every student does not respond to learning alike, as the way our brains pick knowledge, differ. Hence, a good teacher must employ patience in understanding the nature of his student, which would give him the amount of patience he would plan in making a student understand the course.
