I tutor middle schoolers and early high school students in essays, creative writing, and homework assignments by breaking writing into simple, manageable steps, brainstorming, organizing, drafting, and polishing. My lessons usually start with a quick check-in, followed by a short skill lesson, then guided practice where students apply what they’ve learned, and we wrap up with tips for next time. What sets me apart is that I know what it feels like to struggle with writing, so I focus on encouragement and teaching the why behind good writing instead of just fixing mistakes. My goal is to help students feel more confident and independent in their writing.
