About MARIANNA

I am a tutor of Italian and English as a foreign language with a genuine passion for languages. I had the opportunity to teach in different contexts, cultures and to different ages and levels. I am currently teaching Italian to individual students and corporate clients with different language requirements and purposes. I have also conducted a preparation course for Italian GCSE and A level exams at Bishop Challoner Independent School in London. Previously, I taught English to high school students and to primary school teachers in Italy. Courses included preparation for Cambridge English language examinations. I also taught English in the Middle East to University students and enjoyed working within a different cultural context. During my University studies in Italy, I volunteered teaching Italian in a school for foreign learners in my hometown. My teaching approach My lessons are very interactive, communicative and pleasant. I like to be organised and I plan my lessons ahead. I care about my students’ learning progress and achievements and I am keen to guide them in a friendly, dedicated and respectful manner. One of my main goals is to enable my students to enjoy the experience of communicating, thinking and reacting in a foreign language.
