About Vaish
My name is Vaish, and I tutor Math and English for middle school and early high school students. I’m a responsible, patient, and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident in school. I understand that not every student learns the same way, so I take time to explain topics clearly and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions.
My goal is not just to help students finish homework, but to help them actually understand the material and improve over time. I create an encouraging learning environment where students can learn without feeling judged or rushed.
I can help with Algebra I topics such as equations, graphing, word problems, and test preparation, as well as English skills like grammar, essay writing, reading comprehension, and class assignments. I can also help with test anxiety, and overall test-taking skills.

I’m a friendly and understanding tutor who wants students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I tutor Algebra I and English, mainly for middle school and early high school students. I know some teachers move too fast, so I try to explain things in a simpler way that actually makes sense.
In my lessons, we usually start by going over homework or topics the student is struggling with. Then we practice problems together step-by-step until they feel more confident doing them on their own. For English, I can help with essays, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing assignments.
What makes me different is that I’m still a student myself, so I understand the pressure of school and how frustrating certain subjects can feel. I’m patient, encouraging, and focused on helping students improve their overall grades and academic confidence.
