About Jackie
I was an English major in college and have carried my love of the language throughout my career and life. I've worked in the publishing industry, have tutored young adults in comprehension and writing, I have far too many books and my main pastime is reading.

I work with adults and young adults learning English as a second language. While grammar is important, it's vital to have skills in speaking/conversation, reading comprehension, and to develop writing skills as well. I'm passionate about my native language and think its beauty expresses logic and emotion as one of the premier languages of the world. I have previously taught young adults writing skills and was so happy to see them advance in confidence and skill.
