I prefer one-to-one teaching as it allows me to understand the student's strengths and weaknesses better in order to customise lessons for the student. This allows good students to excel further and weaker students to find their footing and catch-up to a reasonable standard.
Lessons are planned and organised to ensure sufficient time for revision before major exams and this has been proven to be an effective method to excel in exams as well as to master and retain the knowledge gained.
Classes are also flexible, meaning that if a student is busy on the date of a pre-arranged class, a replacement class can be organised.
I would also recommend a short discussion with parents before commencing classes for parents to understand the learning experience and expectations.
