As a class teacher I have taught the core curriculum subjects along with Religion. However, I have a special interest in languages. I am extremely passionate about languages and this is evident in my lessons. I use a range of creative and imaginative resources to inspire my pupils. I have made learning Spanish extremely accessible reducing many barriers for my pupils particulary those pupils of other nationalities and those pupils with special educational needs. This has been particularly useful in building upon my pedagogical knowledge. I have a wealth of subject and cultural knowledge which I bring to the classroom. I am very keen to share this knowledge not only with my pupils but other teachers in my department. I have contributed to the book "Dictations of Primary Education " . ISBN 978-84-451-3237-1 . Edition 2009 . Ministry of Education of Community of Madrid. I have been described as being a very approachable teachers and I do all I can to support the other teachers I work with.

I teach Spanish through a range of cultural and cross-curricular activities. I set consistently high expectations of the pupils in my care, and as a result of this I am very well respected by them.

I am extremely proactive in seeking out opportunities to contribute to the wider life and ethos ofthe school. Not only have I set up enrichment clubs for my pupils, I have also exploited the links I have taken my pupils on enriching cultural trups. This proved a very positive experience for teachers and pupils alike.

It would be both an honour and privilege to have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the learning and development of Spanish at your school. I am a reflective, innovative teacher who brings energy and enthusiasm to everything I do. I have many other skills and attributes which I bring to the classroom.
