I approach teaching by implementing increasing amounts of language immersion as the student advances, after mastering the basics students are encouraged to use what they know in conversation during our sessions. This style of French teaching trains the ear to pick up on familiar words even if they don’t understand the entire sentence. This is an important step towards proficiency in French.
