I am a current 3rd year undergraduate at Oxford who has had a broad range of experience with teaching/tutoring in the past and hope to bring a friendly, productive and fun approach to helping my tutees to achieve their ambitions (big or small!).

I hope to teach lessons in a fun, productive way where the needs of the student are the priority. Normally I would use 45 min-1 hr lessons and base it around an essay/piece of work but I feel it is important that the student takes the lead on what format works best for them.
My experience with teaching started at school, where I ran reading lessons once a week for Year 2 and Year 4 children at a primary school. This taught me a huge amount about both the difficulties and the rewards involved with teaching, in particular young children for whom many of which English was their second language.
Since then, I have helped A-level students with their university applications (Oxbridge in particular) as well as senior school admissions at 13+. I found I could really relate to and engage with my tutees based on the recent experience of going through the process myself. Having gone through all the same things relatively recently, I have an intimate knowledge of what the processes require and which approaches seems to click with different people.
