About Dr George

Hello future student! I'm Dr. George — a medical doctor who just graduated from RCSI Bahrain with a GPA of 3.62, a Step 1 pass, and a Step 2 CK score of 257. Yes, 257. I know what it takes to perform at that level, and more importantly, I know how to help you get there too.
My journey as a tutor started four years ago in my second year of medical school, when my university selected me to tutor younger peers based on my exam performance. Since then I've tutored and mentored 30+ students and my passion for teaching has only grown. I'm now a resident physician in the UAE, which means I bring real clinical experience into every session — not just textbook knowledge.
Outside of medicine I'm into the gym, football, cooking, reading, and I recently started getting into chess. But enough about me — this is about YOU. Reach out and let's get to work!

About the lesson

A 257 on Step 2 CK doesn't happen by accident — it happens through clinical reasoning, not memorisation. That's exactly what I focus on in my sessions.
Over four years of tutoring I've used a wide range of approaches — case walkthroughs, Q&A, diagrams, quizzes, trivia, group discussions — and I always adapt to whatever works best for you. The goal is never to just get through material. It's to make sure you actually understand it and can apply it under exam pressure.
My sessions typically run up to two hours, covering one or two topics in depth rather than rushing through everything superficially. I find that depth beats breadth every time when it comes to boards prep.
I tutor medical students preparing for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, and I'm also happy to work with medical students on basic sciences. I teach in English but can also teach in Arabic.
First session is on me — no commitment, just come with your biggest weak area and we'll work through it together.
