About Amala
My name is Amala and I have freshly graduated year 12 in 2024! All through year 12 food studies was my favorite subject as it was a topic that held a lot of interest. With this interest and with the support of people who had confidence in me I was able to achieve my dream study score at the end of the year. I don't think I could have excelled the way I did without the people that supported me and put in time and effort to ensure I did well. This has inspired me to help other students who are in the same position as I was in to get the most out of food studies so that they can get the best result they can achieve at the end of the year.

My lessons are for year 12 students who are taking VCE food studies. As a recent graduate myself (class of 2024) and now a university student studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science/Bachelor of Nutrition, I am hoping to use my knowledge and passion to help other students excel in food studies. In 45 min - 1 hour sessions, I will be able to assist students with questions about content, ways to apply their knowledge, help with assignments, as well as providing suitable ways for each student to get the most out of Food Studies. This is all from an approach of someone who has previously excelled in this subject.
