About Amanda
I am currently in my third year of an International Business program. I am French, but was raised in the United Arab Emirates, which allowed me to develop a very good English level. Both of my parents are french teachers, and my mother was a translator for over 10 years. I remember using my parents' workbooks, sneaking them away to my friends' who wanted to learn French and giving them my own tutoring lesson. My whole life I have been reading and writing in French and English. I have always been the person that my friends go to if they need a quick translation or need me to read over their texts. I truly believe that learning new languages is a beautiful thing. I know what it is like to want to learn a new language and how frustrating it can be when all you have are some words on a screen. That's why I hope I can help people wanting to learn French through my lessons and their interactivity.

The content I will be using for my lessons is separated into three different levels, on top of an introductory lesson.
- The introductory lesson will go over the basics of the language such as the alphabet, accents, greetings, numbers, and more.
- Level one will consist of basic grammar, using the verb to be, speaking about family, weather, descriptions...
- Level two will allow you to develop your vocabulary about a variety of other subjects, while getting into the slightly more advanced tenses.
- Level three will allow to go over the last, more complicated verb tenses, learn geography prepositions, adverbs, etc., and even learn about french culture and literature if you wish to do so.
At the end of every lesson, I will have some questions ready for you to try to apply what you have learnt, and will be sending you the vocabulary list from the subjects we went over that day so you can take a look and learn them at your own pace. You are welcome to ask for a lesson no matter what your level is. We can always skip the introductory lessons if your level is truly more advanced, but going over the basics doesn't do any harm.
