U3&4 Chemistry Tutoring [2024 VCE Grad - 99.55 ATAR - Raw 47 Chemistry] 1-on-1

I’m one of Matt’s friends and classmate during high school. He’s super friendly and patient, especially when it comes to breaking down and explaining difficult concepts. He is also super dedicated, often finding extra helpful resources for the classes we were in, which really boosted our understanding and knowledge in those classes.

Matt is a very bright and intelligent student his passion for mathematics is unmatched and often finds seldom in tackling mathematical concepts and problems. He finds genuine enjoyment in what he does and is always seeking a challenge which aids him in giving him a wide breadth of deeper mathematical understanding. From having shared a VCE Specialist Mathematics with him, I can attest to his commitment, in constantly going above and beyond the scope of the course. In collating a wide arsenal of tools at his disposal Matt is able to shed insight and alternate angles on how to approach high level problems. He is very clear and straight forward, yet thorough in explanation, making sure that you understand content often via links and connections to other topics. In addition, he provides plenty of variety in the example questions he writes that emulate the style that VCAA tend to ask ranging from both ends of the bell curve to ensure his students are equipped with the base knowledge and niche skills needed to get the top one percent of marks . I have personal found useful to further reinforce my own mathematical skills in order to grasp key areas of knowledge. His approach is very patient and gentle and I can not speak highly enough of his mathematical brilliance and adeptness, as well as his dedication to sharing his passion for maths.

Whenever I have required help Matt is always happy to assist and ensure I can perform at my best. Patient and kind, Matt would make a great teacher
